CTSS BOD ZOOM Meeting Minutes 4-16-21

Attendees: Louise (host), Phil, Norm, George, Bob, Jane, & Bill

Call to Order: 7:35 PM

Officer Reports:

Chairman – Charlie Allen & Bill Dexter

Nothing new to report on Food Drive kits. Did get note about community service events done by the Lamy’s.

President – George McCleary

Commends Duck for the great job he is doing with the website. Would like to see member pictures on website rather than stock pictures…we should send member pictures to Duck to use in section headings.

Vice-President – Phil DesJardins

Nothing to report.

Treasurer – Bob Smith

Balance in checkbook is $7,611.81 Taxes were done. CtWebFactory was paid for upcoming year ($300.00) Go Daddy was paid for domain names ($31.16 & $58.32).

Secretary – Jacqui Kuzmik

Motion made by Phil to approve the last meeting minutes. Jane seconded the motion.

Committee Reports:

Events (Workshop Weekend) – George McCleary (chair) & Phil Desjardins

Met with Lake Compounce representatives. Norm will explore breakfast options. They will provide coffee, tea, etc. for group. Cash wine & beer bar available for Sat night. Menus not set yet. Will have parking area for us. Food Drive items to be collected when parking, not at main gate. Will use CTSS banners.

Doubletree Hotel room rate is $149.00 per room. Bear Creek Campground will give attendees a 20% discount.  Might have Friday night get together at campgrounds. We need to officiate at Breakfast with Santa both Sat & Sun AM at campgrounds. Possible other campground events.

We will require proof of Covid vaccines or a negative Covid test within 72 hours of our event for all attendees. Registrations need to be postmarked by July 10th.
