BoD Minutes - Mar 24, 2024

CTSS Zoom BOD Meeting Minutes 3/24/2024.

Attendees: Bill Dexter, Bob Smith, Jacqui Kuzmik, Marty Landgrebe, Dave Sizemore, Bob Smith, Sue Altieri, Louise DesJardins, Duck Unitas, Norm Ward, Margo Staurt

Call to Order: 7:02 pm

The Board approved the 1/28/2024 minutes. Jacqui motioned to approve the minutes. Dave 2nd the motion and all were in favor, and none opposed. The meeting was turned over to Marty.

Officer Reports:

Treasurer’s Report -  Bob Smith

The Taxes have been filed and the fee for the website has been paid.

The total balance is $17,505.77.

Events:

Louise and Jacqui held a Mrs. Claus’s meeting via zoom on March 24, 2024 @ 7:00 pm and it seemed to be a success and they are planning on holding additional meetings.

Dave Sizemore reported that he placed the $500.00 deposit for the TPC for the date of October 19, 2024 for our workshop.

Duck said there was no report.

There was a mention about a Publicity website and to put events on the website.

Facebook:

No report.

Comments:

A discussion ensued with Margo regarding our CTSS Logo. She is working on a 4½ x 4½ Patch and she has various bags that she could put the logo on and use as swag at our October Workshop.

Margo was going to bring some bags and samples to our April Meeting.

Bob spoke briefly about the Garlic Festival.

Dave told us that the capacity for the TPC in October was 80 and Jacqui talked about a possible Mrs. Claus jewelry class.

Bill mentioned the Wilton Grange for an upcoming gathering and Norm would decide on the time and place for the April gathering.

Marty indicated he would touch base with Quassy Amusement Park and Lake Compounce regarding any potential events with them.

Marty suggested that Jane may be able to make a list and determine how long people have been CTSS Members and thought we could recognize them at the TPC. Lapel Pins were a suggestion.

A motion to adjourn was made by Sue, it was 2nd by Bob, and all were in favor, and none opposed.

The meeting adjourned at 7:52 pm.
