CTSS Santa Workshop Weekend

Coming out of a Covid-19 induced hiatus, CTSS celebrated their 11th annual workshop event in 2021. The event was hosted by Lake Compounce and was held over a two day weekend in July. Santas from across the state (and some a little further out) came to join in the learning, the camaraderie and the sharing, culminating in a fun walk through the park visiting with park guests and bringing smiles to the kids enjoying the multitude of rides.

The day’s events consisted of talks, workshops and practical lessons from Santa performers who shared their experience with the attendees. In between lessons, members visited vendors, browsed over the various charity auction items or had their photo taken in a portable photo studio. We even had a couple of film crews documenting the event for an upcoming documentary (stay tuned).

Overall everyone had a great time sharing ideas and reconnecting with old friends. Personally, I’m looking forward to next year’s event. I hope you are too.
