CTSS BOD ZOOM Meeting Minutes 10-22-21

Attendees: Louise (host), Duck, Tom, Bill & Jacqui

Absent: Bob, Jane & Norm

Call to Order: 7:37 PM

President – Bill Dexter

We were very successful at the Garlic Festival. We had donations of $510.00 which was our best year yet. The consensus was that this event definitely needs a third person full time (other than the Santas & Mrs.) to take cell phone pictures & promote the Photos with Santa event in November. There were a lot of flyers handed out & a lot of interest in the event, with the possibility of increasing the hours of the event if we can get enough Santas & Mrs. to sign up.  Bill also wondered if a short bio/occupation would be a good idea to put in our member profile on the website & our membership application. This would be useful if we wish to utilize the talents of our members. 

Vice-President – Tom Harrington

Glad to be here & he is looking forward to meeting with Bill to discuss the future of CTSS. He stated that he is looking forward to working the “Photos with Santa” event Sunday morning with a brand new Mrs. Claus….his wife Sue will assist him for the first time.

Treasurer – Bob Smith

Bank balance is $10,069.10. The bank was going to start charging us $5.00 per month for paper statements.  I signed up for electronic statements to save the expense.

Secretary – Jacqui Kuzmik

Approve the minutes of Sept. 17th meeting. Tom made the motion to accept the minutes as corrected; Duck seconded the motion. All were in favor.

Committee Reports:

Events (Workshop Weekend) – George McCleary (chair) & Phil Desjardins

None

Website – Duck Unitas (chair), Norm Ward & George McCleary

Duck sent an email to active members stating that the website is up & running & inviting them to activate their accounts; a few have already done so.  The progress of other features of the website is continuing.
