Member Spotlight – Mike Tolla

A Christmas collection box was placed at the St Ann Club in Norwalk  to collect necessities for the Children’s Connection – Children’s Bank.  The box was filled quickly and I emptied and delivered the donated items to Human Services Council along with checks totaling $300.  The box will be at the club for another week and hopefully will receive some more items.  Here is a picture of my collection box (I added the CTSS logo to it this year) and a picture of the items the members of the St. Ann Club donated.

As a reminder, Children’s Connection helps children that have been sexually or physically abused by their parents or siblings and many are living in foster care.  Children’s Connection also helps the new born babies that have been abandoned at the police station and fire houses in Norwalk and the neighboring towns.
